2. Purpose of data processing
Data processing is carried out in accordance with legal requirements to fulfill the treatment contract between you and your doctor and the associated obligations.
For this purpose, we process your personal data, especially your health data. This includes medical history, diagnoses, treatment proposals and findings that we or other doctors collect. Other doctors or psychotherapists treating you may also provide us with data (such as in medical reports) for these purposes.
The collection of health data is a requirement for your treatment. If the necessary information is not provided, careful treatment cannot be provided.
3. Recipients of your data
We only transfer your personal data to third parties if this is legally permitted or if you have given your consent.
Recipients of your personal data may include other doctors/psychotherapists, medical associations, health insurance companies, medical service of health insurance, medical associations and private medical billing agencies.
The transfer takes place mainly for the purpose of invoicing the services provided to you, clarifying medical and insurance-related questions arising from your insurance relationship. In individual cases, data may be transmitted to further authorized recipients.
4. Storage of your data
We only keep your personal data for as long as is necessary for the treatment.
Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to keep this data for at least 10 years after the end of the treatment. Other regulations may result in longer retention periods, such as 30 years for X-ray recordings according to § 28 paragraph 3 of the X-ray Ordinance.
5. Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data concerning you. You can also request the correction of incorrect data. Furthermore, under certain conditions, you have the right to have your data deleted, to restrict the processing of your data and to transfer your data. The processing of your data is based on legal regulations. We only require your consent in exceptional cases. In these cases, you have the right to revoke your consent for future processing.
You also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority for data protection if you believe that the processing of your personal data is not lawful.
